Special features: The EMILL Stockwerk Single Malt Whisky is distilled and aged in the historic Scheibel Mill in the Black Forest. The maturation takes place in four different levels of the mill, resulting in a unique combination of aromas. In March 2020, this whisky was awarded the Gold Medal at the World Spirits Award.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Sweet aromas of flower honey and caramel, accompanied by delicate wood notes and a fine hint of dark roasted wood reminiscent of coffee.
- Palate: Harmonious combination of honey sweetness, malt, and dark aromas creating a smooth overall impression.
- Finish: Long and spicy, with a subtle nutmeg note that lingers pleasantly.
Distillery/Bottler: The Scheibel Mill in Kappelrodeck in the Achertal has been owned by the Scheibel family since 1921 and is known for its high-quality distillates. Since 2014, whisky has also been produced there, combining traditional methods with modern technology.
