Special Features:

Long maturation in former bourbon casks made from American white oak shapes Flor de Caña 25. This single estate rum spends 25 years at the foot of an active volcano in Nicaragua. It contains no added sugar, artificial ingredients or other additives. Its dark amber colour develops without added colouring.

Vanilla, cocoa and wood define the nose, while fruity and nutty impressions come together on the palate. The rum is bottled at 40% in a 0.7-litre bottle and supplied in gift packaging. A rounded tasting glass is well suited to enjoying it neat.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Vanilla, woody notes and dark cocoa unfold on the nose.
• Palate: Fruity impressions mingle with almonds and nuts on the palate.
• Finish: The long finish is warming. Oak, cocoa and spice notes linger before gradually fading gently.

Distillery/Bottler:

Flor de Caña comes from Chichigalpa in Nicaragua. Rum production has remained in the hands of the same family since 1890, now spanning five generations. Maturation takes place at the foot of the San Cristóbal volcano, where the tropical climate encourages interaction between the spirit and the cask wood.

Flor de Caña uses entirely renewable energy for distillation. The CO₂ generated during fermentation is captured and reused, while solar energy powers the bottling process. The brand is certified Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade. Carbon Neutral certification includes offsetting emissions throughout the product's lifecycle, from cultivation to market.
