Special features: This limited release from Duncan Taylor comes from the renowned Glen Moray distillery in Speyside. After 15 years of maturation in classic oak casks, the whisky received an additional refinement of four months in a smaller Octave cask, which provides a special intensity and complexity. Only 90 bottles of this rare drop were filled.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Fruity aromas with notes of pear, green apples, and delicate vanilla tones, underlined by a hint of oak spice.
- Palate: Full-bodied and balanced with hints of honey, caramel, and a subtle spice note, thanks to the short finish in the Octave cask.
- Finish: Long-lasting, warm, with a pleasant sweetness and fine oak wood note.
