Special Features:

Glencadam 15 Year Old matures exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon casks. Part of the distillery's core range, it combines a fruity, creamy character with vanilla and liquorice. The whisky scored 98 out of 100 points at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2022.

Oak, malt and toffee add to the aromatic range, alongside floral notes, beeswax and baked apples.

The miniature contains 0.05 litres of this Single Malt at 46% alcohol. The whisky has no added colouring and is bottled without chill filtration.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Orchard fruits and vanilla pod stand out on the nose, complemented by citrus peel and roasted nuts.
• Palate: The whisky is sweet and creamy on the palate. Sugared almonds and panna cotta give way to notes of dried apple, nutmeg and cocoa powder.
• Finish: Creamy rice pudding and gentle cinnamon spice linger on the tongue through the long finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Glencadam is in the eastern Highlands. David Scott built the distillery in 1825 on land belonging to his father-in-law, George Cooper. Following its closure in 2000, Angus Dundee Distillers acquired the distillery in 2003 and resumed production in August that year.

The distillery uses unpeated Scottish malted barley, which is ground in a historic Porteus mill. During mashing, the grist is extracted in three stages using progressively hotter water. The resulting wort ferments with distiller's yeast in Oregon pine washbacks. During distillation, the master distiller selects the heart cut for the new spirit. Glencadam's maturation facilities include traditional warehouses dating from the year the distillery was founded.
