Special Features: This 15-year-old single malt from the Glencadam Distillery undergoes a finish in liqueur wine casks from the Portuguese island of Madeira. With only 5,826 individually numbered bottles, it reflects the solid craftsmanship and the long maturation in traditional Dunnage warehouses.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Inviting aromas of caramel and ginger cookies, accompanied by caramelized pecans as well as dried pineapple and warm baking spices.
• Palate: Complex notes of peach pie, syrup, and creamy caramel, complemented by roasted walnuts, pralines, and candied fruit peels.
• Finish: Long-lasting with impressions of brandy butter, honey cake, and salted caramel, underpinned by a hint of dark chocolate and cinnamon.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glencadam Distillery, founded in the heart of the East Highlands, guarantees a rather small but characterful range of single malts. Its two traditional copper pot stills produce a particularly delicate and smooth spirit that matures in a historic Dunnage warehouse. After around 180 years of being predominantly used in blends, Glencadam has gained increasing recognition among whisky connoisseurs with its own original bottlings.
