It is initially aged for three years in former bourbon barrels, followed by one year in barrels made from sustainable Irish oak. This combination of barrels contributes to the formation of aromas. The whiskey is bottled without chill filtration, resulting in a more intense tasting experience.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glendalough Distillery was founded in 2011 by five friends in the Wicklow Mountains. A mixture of malted and unmalted Irish barley is used to produce the Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey, which is distilled in a 500-liter pot still. The whiskey initially ages in American bourbon barrels before receiving a finish in Irish oak barrels.
