With an alcohol content of 47.7%, the collection delivers an intense flavor profile. Each of the single malts showcases the special maturation in Oloroso sherry casks, contributing to the complexity and depth of the whisky.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals sweet aromas of sherry, malt, and a hint of smoke. Additionally, notes of jam, honey, and coffee are present, harmonizing with sherry and nuts.
• Palate: The palate offers a complex body that is wonderfully balanced between sherry, malt, and smoke. Sherry and oak dominate, providing a full, intense flavor.
• Finish: The finish is long, warm, and smooth with a dominant sherry influence. An intense finish is also present, accompanied by a fine smoky note.

Distillery/Bottler: The Glenfarclas Distillery, founded in 1836 and family-owned by the Grants since 1865, produces approximately 3.5 million liters of whisky annually. This distillery is known for its sherry cask-matured whiskies and uses traditional dunnage warehouses for around 68,000 casks. The whiskies mature in former Oloroso sherry casks and benefit from a production that relies on traditional methods, including the use of directly gas-heated stills.
