Special features: This limited release from the renowned Glenfarclas Distillery represents the first part of the "Trinity Vintage Series". The single malt matured entirely in selected Oloroso sherry casks from Bodega José y Miguel Martín, giving it a distinctive depth and elegance. Bottled at 46% ABV, without coloring and without chill filtration, this whisky presents itself in its natural form.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Intense aromas of dark chocolate and raisins, accompanied by dried cherries and forest berries, enveloped in fine sherry notes.
- Palate: Full-bodied with sweet sherry notes, raisins, toffee, and hints of leather and oak.
- Finish: Long and warming, with lingering sherry notes, raw cocoa, and date cream.
Distillery/Bottler: The Glenfarclas Distillery, founded in 1836 by Robert Hay, has been owned by the Grant family since 1865. As one of the few independent, family-run distilleries in Scotland, it has earned a reputation for producing high-quality single malts known for their sherry notes.
