Special features: This limited release comes from a single hogshead cask (#1290) and has been carefully selected by Berry Bros & Rudd for the "Glens & Valleys" series. With only 263 bottles, the Glenlossie 2011 combines intense aromas with a powerful cask strength alcohol content of 56.2%. The non-chill filtration and the absence of coloring preserve the character of the pure single malt.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fruity notes of green apples and ripe pears, accompanied by delicate honey and malt undertones.
Palate: Full-bodied with hints of vanilla, white pepper, and creamy grain spice.
Finish: Long-lasting, spicy with a touch of oak and subtle caramel.
Distillery/Bottler: Glenlossie is located in the Speyside region of Scotland, an area known for its elegant and often smooth single malts. The distillery itself was founded in the 19th century and has since produced consistency and quality. Berry Bros & Rudd is one of the oldest British spirits companies with a tradition of curating high-quality bottlings and rarities.
