The whisky for this single-cask bottling was distilled at The Glenrothes in November 2014 and matured for nine years. Hart Brothers bottled it in March 2024 at a cask strength of 56.2%. It is naturally coloured and non-chill-filtered; the bottle contains 0.7 litres.

On the nose, the sensory profile centres on ripe fruit and sherry, complemented by gentle vanilla and a delicate hint of honey. Fruity sweetness provides the foundation for hazelnut and spices on the palate, while the oak remains restrained. The medium-length finish brings together fruity sweetness and vanilla with gentle spice.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Glenrothes Distillery is located in the Speyside town of Rothes and has produced whisky there since 1879. The distillery draws water from four springs of its own and distils comparatively slowly in tall stills. The prolonged contact with copper contributes to a bright, fruity new make spirit.

Hart Brothers Limited was founded in 1964 by Iain and Donald Hart as a wine and spirits wholesaler and Scotch whisky blending company; Alistair Hart joined in 1975. The independent bottler sources rare casks of malt and grain whisky, allows them to mature further and selects them for single-cask bottlings only after careful tasting. Hart Brothers bottled this Glenrothes, already matured for nine years, at cask strength in March 2024.
