Special features: This VSOP Cognac comes from a careful assembly of distillates from the Bons Bois and other Cru regions, aged between 4 to 10 years. It is bottled at a higher alcohol content of 46.3% vol. in small batches of 500 liters. The collaboration with the traditional house Vallein Tercinier guarantees a balanced and complex spirit.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Muscat grape, walnut, pear, dried banana, beetroot, freshly cut oak, wax, rapeseed honey, warmed Boskoop apple, vanilla, puff pastry, butter, and raisin.
- Palate: Honey and ripe mirabelles, apple fritters, vanilla, powdered sugar, malt, pastry, grassy and fresh.
- Finish: Long and very fruity and green towards the end. A harmonious finish reminiscent of a Blanc de Blancs.
Distillery/Bottler: The Vallein Tercinier distillery in France combines traditional Cognac production with innovative recipes and is among the most experienced producers in the region. The independent bottler Wu Dram Clan works closely with Kirsch Import to pursue a transparent product philosophy. The GrapeDiggaz Range focuses on grape brandy in all its facets and offers sophisticated and diverse spirits for both whisky and rum connoisseurs as well as cocktail lovers.
