Special features: The Isle of Raasay Single Malt Whisky - The Draam - Lightly Peated is produced at the Isle of Raasay Distillery in Scotland, which was founded in 2017 and is the first legal distillery on the island. This bottling combines unpeated and peated whisky and matured in a selection of casks, including Bordeaux red wine casks and former rye whiskey casks. The whisky has an alcohol content of 46.4% and is bottled without chill-filtration and without coloring. It is packaged in a gift box.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals aromas of sea and smoke, accompanied by wood smoke in sea air. Dried and ripe apricots, candied fruits, glace cherries, and a scent of scorched heather are also noticeable.
• Palate: The palate shows spices, cinnamon, and black pepper, as well as flavors of black currant and wood smoke. Additionally, heather, honey, salted caramel, salted popcorn, and black cherry join in.
• Finish: The finish is pleasantly dry and long, with a hint of salt, fine wood smoke, and dried fruits.

Distillery/Bottler: The Isle of Raasay Distillery produces the first legal whisky of the Isle of Raasay. Distillation occurs in two passes. Furthermore, chill-filtration and the use of coloring are avoided. The bottling represents the aromas and characteristics that come from the unique environment of the Isle of Raasay.
