Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the regular 0.7-litre bottling in the Core Range, bottled at 40%. This blended Scotch brings together selected Scottish whiskies in a style that frames fruit, honey, nuts and dark chocolate with dry smoke.

Only around one in 10,000 casks meets the selection criteria for Blue Label. The blend includes rare whiskies from all four corners of Scotland, including stocks from long-closed ghost distilleries. This rigorous selection shapes the bottling's depth and velvety-smooth character.

Rich spice gives way to vanilla and honey, followed by caramel, hazelnut and dark chocolate before the aromas fade into a long, smoky finish. Presented in a premium box, the bottling is also suitable as a gift.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is soft and rounded, with dry smoke combining with the sweetness of raisins.
• Palate: On the palate, layers of dried fruit and citrus smoke develop into honey, sweet spice and vanilla.

A specialist blending team composes Blue Label from carefully selected Scottish whiskies. Blue Label is an original Johnnie Walker bottling, and the brand belongs to Diageo. John Walker opened a grocery shop in Kilmarnock, Scotland, in 1820 and began blending different single malts to achieve more consistent quality. Blue Label was introduced in 1992 as a combination of particularly rare and exceptional Scottish whiskies.
