Johnnie Walker Red Soul is a Blended Scotch introduced in 2026 as a deliberately sweeter and smoother interpretation of Red Label’s lively character. Master Blender Emma Walker and her team placed vanilla sweetness, smoothness and a smoke-free character at its heart.

Creamy vanilla and berries open the blend. Toffee fudge, sweet red apple, gentle spices and mild oak follow before the whisky concludes with a sweet, creamy finish.

The bottle contains 0.7 litres and the whisky has an alcohol content of 40%.

For a simple long drink, Red Soul is combined with lemon-lime soda, a pinch of sea salt and a strawberry garnish. Its sweet and gentle oak flavours remain perceptible in the mix.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, creamy vanilla, berries and gentle spices open the blend.
• Palate: On the palate, toffee fudge and sweet red apple combine with mild oak.
• Finish: The finish is sweet, creamy and smooth, without developing any smoky notes.

Distillery/Bottler:

Master Blender Emma Walker and her team developed Red Soul. The whisky is the result of years of experimentation at Johnnie Walker. The team drew on the same reserve of maturing casks used for Red Label, but emphasised maturation-derived flavours in the new blend rather than the spicier, smokier style of its inspiration.

Johnnie Walker traces its origins to founder John Walker and is now part of Diageo’s brand portfolio. Taste and quality have guided the creation of the brand’s whiskies since its earliest days.
