This bottling matures for over 16 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, developing a complex aroma. With an alcohol content of 43% and a volume of 700 ml, it is also offered in a gift packaging. The whisky is characterized by its strong smoky flavor and has a natural color.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, intense peat smoke, earthy notes, a fresh sea breeze, and a hint of iodine are present. Complex sherry aromas and sweet vanilla complete the picture.
• Palate: On the palate, there is strong peat smoke, a bit of iodine, sweet malt, and roasted oak. Light heather herbs, a pinch of sea salt, and hay join in.
• Finish: The finish is very long and elegant, with sweet dried fruits, salty campfire smoke, seaweed, and malt.

Distillery/Bottler: Lagavulin was founded in 1816 by John Johnston and is known for its characteristic onion-shaped stills.
