This rum is made from sugarcane that is cultivated in a 37-hectare botanical garden. After harvesting, the sugarcane is processed into molasses and then fermented for 24 to 48 hours. The aging takes place in a combination of American and French oak barrels as well as bourbon barrels, resulting in a complex and balanced flavor.
