The combination of different yeast cultures, cut points, and the use of peated and unpeated barley enables nine characteristic single malt styles – a unique selling point in Scotland. The whisky was first matured in bourbon casks before being finished in Madeira casks, perfecting its fruity character and harmoniously rounding it off.
