This Longmorn is a 13-year-old Speyside single malt from a single cask. The whisky was distilled in November 2010 and bottled by Hart Brothers in March 2024 at a cask strength of 55.2%.

The whisky is non-chill-filtered and bottled without added colouring. The bottle contains 0.7 litres and comes in a presentation tube.

Its aromatic profile combines vanilla and pineapple with creamy caramel, tropical fruit, orange peel, almond and bittersweet oak. The long, sweet finish is carried by a pronounced almond note.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals sweet vanilla and fruity pineapple, complemented by a delicate almond note.
• Palate: Creamy caramel, tropical fruit and bittersweet oak define the palate. A light impression of orange peel adds another nuance.
• Finish: The finish is long and sweet, fading with a pronounced almond note.

Distillery/Bottler:

Longmorn Distillery produced this Speyside single malt, which was distilled in November 2010. Founded near Elgin in 1894/95, the distillery traces its origins to John Duff, Charles Shirres and George Thomson.

Hart Brothers selected the single cask and bottled the whisky in March 2024 after 13 years of maturation, retaining its cask strength. Iain and Donald Hart founded the company in 1964 as a wine and spirits wholesaler and Scotch whisky blender. Alistair Hart joined in 1975 and, as Chief Blender, took responsibility for seeking out rare vintage casks. Hart Brothers allows selected malt and grain whiskies to mature further and decides only after careful tasting which of them will be released as single-cask bottlings.
