Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals intense sweet fruitcake aromas that combine with brown sugar, sticky plums, and candied citrus peels into a complex unity. Spices provide warmth with cinnamon and clove, while fine vanilla and forest fruits round out the impression.
• Palate: Sweet blackberry and cherry notes are speckled with a bit of ground pepper, which eventually paves the way for warming spices leading to licorice flavors with dried tobacco and oak.
• Finish: The finish is long-lasting with warm fruit compote and charred oak, offering a subtle ash finish.

Distillery/Bottler: Gordon & MacPhail has been operating as an independent bottler and distiller in Elgin, Scotland, since 1895.
