This non-smoky Lowland single malt was distilled on 20 November 2009 and bottled after 15 years on 30 January 2025.

Duncan Taylor finished the whisky in Oloroso sherry Octave cask #12242869. The small cask yielded 96 bottles, which were bottled at 53%. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Fresh fruit, dried fruit and nuts come together in a balanced nose.
• Palate: On the palate, sherry sweetness and dried fruit are complemented by a silky texture.
• Finish: The long, elegant finish remains spicy.

Distillery/Bottler:

Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky Limited selected the whisky, finished it in an Octave cask and bottled it as an independent bottler. The company holds an extensive private collection of Scotch whisky casks. At its Huntly premises, it combines cask selection with its own cooperage, warehousing and bottling facilities, using small Octave casks specifically for finishing.
