Special Features:

The 2025 gift set combines a 0.7-litre bottle of Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon at 45% with a matching tumbler. The signature red wax seal is applied to the bottle by hand. Together, the bottle and glass form a gift set that is ready for serving.

Red winter wheat replaces the rye commonly used in bourbon. The bourbon matures for approximately six years in new charred oak barrels, which are rotated within the warehouse during maturation. Even so, the distillery determines when to bottle it by taste rather than according to a fixed age. This produces a rounded style that brings together vanilla, sweet oak, bright fruit, caramel and gentle spice.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, sweet oak, vanilla and bright fruit combine with wheat, honey and caramel, accompanied by subtle woody and spicy notes.
• Palate: The bourbon is smooth and balanced on the palate. Vanilla, caramel, oak, toffee, nuts and pastry initially meet gentle spice, followed by fresh fruit notes.
• Finish: The finish is smooth and creamy as well as gentle and warm, with soft spice accompanying the lingering aftertaste.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, was founded by T. William Samuels Sr. in 1953. It uses limestone-filtered water and its own proprietary yeast for Maker's Mark; barrel rotation and the red wax seal applied by hand are also integral to the distillery's methods. Suntory Global Spirits is the manufacturer and bottler of this original bottling.
