Special features: This limited Rhum Vieux from South Africa is distilled from pure sugarcane juice of the "nkomazi" sugar beet variety and aged for 42 months in a first-fill bourbon cask from Woodford Reserve. The name "Umbila" means "corn" in the Siswati language and reflects the sweet and complex aromas of this rum. With only 251 bottles filled, it is a true collector's item.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: An intense scent of salted caramel, accompanied by smoky notes of rubber, floral accents of iris and tuberose, as well as spicy hints. Over time, aromas of sugarcane juice and cane sugar emerge.
• Palate: A clear, vibrant entry with fruity notes of pear and apple, citrusy accents of lemon and vanilla, along with a hint of chamomile. In the mid-palate, exotic fruits like pineapple, banana, and coconut unfold, accompanied by mineral nuances of slate and manganese.
• Finish: A long, rich finish with flavors of caramelized sugarcane, cinnamon, and dried fruits like roasted nuts and dates. Floral notes of iris and lily, along with a touch of chocolate and roasted aromas, round off the tasting experience.
