Special features: This Miltonduff whisky, bottled by Murray McDavid, is a limited edition from the Cask Partnership Series. The whisky matured for over 8 years in Scotland and received an additional finish in Oloroso sherry casks. With an alcohol content of 55.7%, it is offered as a cask strength whisky, making it particularly intense. The bottling is done non-chill filtered and without coloring to preserve the natural flavors as much as possible.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals an aroma of tropical fruits, ripe pineapple, honey, toffee, and roasted almonds. Fine vanilla and light oak spice complement this complex scent structure.
• Palate: The palate is soft and harmonious with juicy fruit flavors, creamy toffee, almond pastries, and subtle Madeira wine notes. These are supported by the mild malty Speyside base.
• Finish: The finish is medium to long and gently sweet, with lingering impressions of dried fruits, nuts, and fine, slightly spicy oak.

Distillery/Bottler: Murray McDavid is known for innovative cask maturations and was founded in 1996 by Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin, and Gordon Wright. The distillery is located in the historic Coleburn Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Murray McDavid acquired the closed Bruichladdich Distillery in 2000 and successfully brought it back into operation. The name 'Murray McDavid' honors the grandparents of Mark Reynier.
