Monokel Gin by Hammerschmiede - 700 ml

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 45.5% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

For MONOKEL, Hammerschmiede combines wheat distillate with ELSBURN Single Malt and botanicals. Production includes eight gentle distillations. This dry gin contains no sugar and is bottled at 45.5% in a 0.7-litre bottle.

Citrus fruit and orange bring a fruity dimension to its classic juniper profile. Star anise and coriander add subtle spicy accents. MONOKEL can be enjoyed neat or with tonic; more bitter styles, mild tonics and elderflower-flavoured tonics all work well.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Juniper dominates the nose. Delicate notes of angelica and lavender complement the bold aroma.
• Palate: Bold juniper and the sweetness of ripe oranges take centre stage on the palate. Citrus notes and subtle anise spice complement the assertive, structured flavour.
• Finish: The finish is dry, with lingering spicy notes.
