Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose presents itself robust with aromas of vanilla, pencil shavings, nuts, and citrus fruits. Over time, notes of orchard fruits and a hint of cut grass emerge, while the whisky becomes creamier and lighter.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and powerful like a sumo wrestler. White pepper and a touch of dryness combine with chocolate and green mint in a weighty profile.
• Finish: The finish is medium-long and increasingly dry with enhanced spiciness. Earthy cinnamon, nutmeg, a hint of dark chocolate, and toasted oak provide a complex concluding note.

Distillery/Bottler: The Myken Distillery was founded in 2014 and is located about 32 kilometers off the coast of Northern Norway on the remote island of Myken. All processes from distillation to bottling take place on-site. The distillery is known for its 'Whisky Cathedral', an uninsulated warehouse where climatic influences shape the character of the whisky. The distillery uses Arctic seawater in the distillation, creating a unique profile.
