Neisson 2024/2026 L'Esprit Clos Godinot - Artist #16

Special features: The Neisson 2024/2026 L'Esprit Clos Godinot is a Rhum Agricole from Martinique, offered as part of the Artist series by La Maison du Whisky. This Rhum is made from fresh sugarcane juice and is available in an elegant gift packaging. With an alcohol content of 70%, it is bottled in its purest form without chill filtration. The bottling took place in 2026, after the distillation in 2024.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The aroma opens gently and subtly with peony, a slightly peppery rose, and fresh sugarcane juice. Over time, lily of the valley and jasmine emerge, adding a floral dimension.
• Palate: The taste is lively yet soft. Vesou and fresh sugarcane juice are at the forefront, expressed precisely and generously, before citrus fruits add extra freshness. Vetiver gradually comes forward, adding a dry, herbal depth.
• Finish: The finish is long, broad, and crystal clear with mineral notes. Cardamom, pepper, and star anise linger, followed by medicinal and menthol-like accents.
