Nevis Dew Blue Label
Special features: Originally introduced as "Millennium Blend" at the turn of the millennium, this blended Scotch whisky was awarded a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2000. Following this success, it was named "Blue Label" and has since been a staple in the portfolio of the Ben Nevis Distillery.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: A harmonious bouquet with notes of floral honey, caramel, and fresh citrus fruit.
- Palate: Smooth with hints of honey and dark oak, accompanied by mild spice and multifaceted undertones.
- Finish: Medium-long with a touch of roasted caramel.
Distillery/Bottler: The Ben Nevis Distillery, founded in 1825 by "Long" John MacDonald, is located at the foot of Scotland's highest mountain of the same name in Fort William. It is known for producing both single malt and blended whiskies. Since 1989, the distillery has been part of the Japanese Nikka Whisky Distilling Company Ltd.
