Special Features: The Destileria Orendain, one of Mexico's leading independent distilleries, produces this tequila using nearly a century of traditional manufacturing techniques. The Reposado ages for six months in bourbon barrels, which enhances the typical agave profile with notes of vanilla, wood, and cream. The double distillation in copper and steel pot stills, as well as the use of proprietary yeast cultures, contribute to its smooth texture.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Cooked agave, vanilla, woody and spicy accents, lively and fresh.
- Palate: A combination of cooked agave, wood, orange peel, light smoke, fresh cream, pineapple, vanilla, and caramel.

Distillery/Bottler: The Destileria Orendain was founded in 1926 in Jalisco and is still family-owned. Also known as “La Mexicana,” it combines traditional craftsmanship with careful selection of Blue Weber agaves from its own and surrounding fields. The distillery has relied on slow fermentation with original yeast since its inception, as well as triple distillation, making Ollitas one of the smoothest tequilas from the renowned Tequila Valley. Ollitas has been in demand worldwide for over 80 years and has received multiple international awards.
