Volume: 0.05 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: No
Special Features:
The Clubhouse blend brings together whiskies mainly from Speyside, with components from the Highlands and Islay. It combines three grain whiskies and fifteen matured malt whiskies; around 30% of the blend consists of malts matured for more than five years. Speyside contributes to its fruity character, while Islay adds a subtle peat and smoke accent. This edition contains 0.05 litres of whisky at 40% alcohol in a barrel-shaped bottle and has no age statement.
Tasting Notes:
Distillery/Bottler:
OSA Fine Spirits offers Clubhouse as one of its own whisky brands. The first Clubhouse bottle appeared in 1969: its round, dimpled shape evoked golf and linked the sport with Scotch whisky. The Gorton family brings more than fifty years of blending and distilling experience to the OSA Fine Spirits range. Alongside the historic round bottle, Clubhouse is also presented in the small barrel-shaped bottle offered here.
