Special Features:

Paprocky matures in new American oak casks. This Polish single malt is made from malted barley, spends at least three years in the cask and is bottled at 40%. The fresh wood shapes its spicy oak note, while the texture remains soft and slightly oily.

Green apple and pear lead the fruity profile. Honey, vanilla, caramel and toffee follow, alongside subtler nutty and marzipan notes. Spicy oak, a little tobacco and caramel-like malt lead to a drier finish; a faint hint of smoke stays in the background.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose brings green apple and pear alongside honey and vanilla. Caramel and gentle spice mingle with hints of marzipan, nuts and oak, complemented by malty and tobacco-like notes.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky feels soft and slightly oily. Toffee and caramel meet vanilla and spicy American oak, with a faint hint of smoke.
• Finish: The finish is long and dry. Oak and tobacco linger with a gentle sweetness of caramel-like malt.

Distillery/Bottler:

Bartex Bartol Sp. z o.o. produces Paprocky, which is bottled by the company itself. Its headquarters are in Paproć near Nowy Tomyśl, the place that gave the brand its name.

Founded in 1990, the Polish family business is now run by its third generation. Alongside producing its own spirits, it also imports them, and its products reach more than 30 countries.
