Paul John Brilliance is the brand’s flagship unpeated expression. The single malt matures in ex-bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% without chill filtration. This 0.7-litre edition comes in a tube.

Goa’s warm, humid climate accelerates maturation in the cask. The whisky carries no age statement; honey, demerara sugar, cinnamon and cocoa shape its sweet and spicy character, rounded out by intense vanilla and American oak. The bottling contains colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, demerara sugar, nougat and pudding meet honey and orange blossom honey, while vanilla, cinnamon and delicate spices round out the aroma.
• Palate: The palate is honeyed, smooth, sweet and spicy; sweet nougat, cocoa and a crisp biscuit note give the flavours definition, accompanied by a light herbal note.
• Finish: The finish is smooth, relaxed and medium in length, with mild spice, intense vanilla and American oak.

John Distilleries Pvt. Ltd was founded in Goa in 1992 by Paul P. John. The company distils Paul John Single Malt in Cuncolim from malted Indian six-row barley grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. Brilliance matures in ex-bourbon casks and is bottled by the producer under the Paul John brand.
