Special features: Puni Arte No 4 is an Italian single malt whisky that matured for five years in Merlot wine casks. The PUNI Distillery in Glurns is known for its creative use of local grains and exclusively uses malted barley. This bottling presents a rather light smoky flavor and is offered in a gift packaging. With an alcohol content of 48% vol., the whisky is unchillfiltered and not colored.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The fruity bouquet presents itself with dark berries, chocolate, and a subtle hint of smoke.
• Palate: Under a thin veil of smoke, smooth notes of bittersweet cocoa, grapes, cherries, and blackberries unfold. Mild tannins round out the picture.
• Finish: The impressions from the nose and palate remain in loving memory.

Distillery/Bottler: The PUNI Distillery in Glurns is Italy's first whisky distillery and combines Scottish tradition with alpine terroir. The Puni Arte No. 4 matured in selected Merlot casks that support the characteristic flavor. A subtle smoky character was created by distilling immediately after a production cycle with peated malt.
