Pussers Rum British Navy - Original Admiralty Blend (Blue Label)

Special features: This rum is based on the traditional Admiralty recipe, which served as the daily ration for sailors of the Royal Navy until 1970. It combines rums from various Caribbean regions, including Guyana, Trinidad, and Barbados, and is distilled in over 200-year-old wooden pot stills. After distillation, it matures for at least three years in oak barrels, giving it a deep complexity.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Aromas of Demerara sugar, molasses, dried fruits, island spices, and caramel.
  • Palate: Full-bodied with notes of toffee, vanilla, and a hint of pepper.
  • Finish: Long and warm with a mild, spicy aftertaste.

Distillery/Bottler: Pusser's Rum Ltd. was founded in 1979 to continue the traditional recipe of the Royal Navy. The rums are produced in Guyana, Trinidad, and Barbados and are distilled in over 200-year-old wooden pot stills. A portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold is donated to the Royal Naval Sailors’ Fund.
