Special features: This exquisite Panama rum aged for eight years in former bourbon barrels and then received a 34-month finish in fresh tawny port wine barrels from Portugal. This double maturation gives it remarkable depth and complexity. It was bottled without cold filtration and without the addition of sugar to preserve the natural flavors unadulterated.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Sweet aromas of orange marmalade and plantains, accompanied by light wood and walnut notes.
- Palate: Wonderfully round and balanced, with the walnut flavors becoming more pronounced.
- Finish: Creamy with a hint of wood.
