It has a non-smoky characteristic and is the result of the collaboration between Thompson Bros. and the Royal Brackla Distillery, which supplied the distillate in April 2014.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose opens with the distinctive, slightly sour yeastiness reminiscent of flat Gueuze beer. This is quickly balanced by the rich sweetness of muscovado sugar, complemented by zesty aromas of Key Lime Pie and nutty notes of shelled pistachios.
• Palate: On the palate, the Gueuze note continues and preserves the complex Lambic nuance. Thick honey sweetness, chopped almonds, and the oaky weight of a Californian Chardonnay combine with a hint of new oak and bright citrus fruit, before making way for savory notes of dough balls soaked in garlic butter.
• Finish: The finish is clean and slightly sweet, marked by a vibrant mix of yellow fruits, primarily sharp starfruit and juicy tropical papaya.

Distillery/Bottler: Thompson Bros. is an independent bottler and producer of whisky and gin based in Dornoch, Scotland. The Dornoch Distillery was founded in 2016 by Simon and Philip Thompson and has since been producing high-quality spirits. For the Royal Brackla 2014/2026, the distillate is provided by the Royal Brackla Distillery, highlighting the collaboration between these two distilleries. In addition to whisky, Thompson Bros. also offers gin and has already made solid marks in the market.
