This thirty-year-old single-cask bottling was distilled on 9 November 1989 and matured in refill bourbon barrel 4555. Artful Dodger bottled the whisky at cask strength of 51.2% on 27 February 2020. The cask yielded 317 bottles of 0.5 litres each; the whisky is non-chill filtered and contains no added colouring.

Ripe yellow stone fruit and tropical notes take centre stage, accompanied by vanilla, honey and delicate spice. On the palate, creamy fruit sweetness and vanilla combine with subtle wood influences before citrus, honey and spices shape the long finish.

• Nose: The nose reveals ripe fruit aromas with yellow stone fruit and tropical notes, underpinned by vanilla and honey. Delicate spicy accents and subtle sweetness complete the aroma.

Artful Dodger Whisky is an independent bottler based in Brighton. Sebastian Woolf founded the company in 2018 as part of Woolf Drinks. The Artful Dodger Whisky Collective brand, also launched in 2018, primarily releases single-cask bottlings of Scottish, Irish and American whisky.

Artful Dodger focuses on rare, hard-to-find casks, full cask strength and limited editions. For this Blended Malt, the bottler selected refill bourbon barrel 4555 and, after thirty years of maturation, bottled the whisky at a cask strength of 51.2% as a limited edition of 317 bottles.
