It matured 70% in former bourbon barrels and 30% in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, giving it a complex aroma. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor does it contain colorants, which emphasizes its natural quality.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Multi-layered fruit notes of ripe apricots, peaches, yellow plums, and plantains blend with creamy vanilla into a sweet fruit mélange, underscored by finely spiced oak and a delicate herbal note of fresh mint and a hint of sage.
• Palate: Balanced sweetness and warmth with apricots and peaches, creamy toffee, and spicy oak aromas, perfectly rounded off with a pinch of white pepper and a touch of fresh mint.
• Finish: Creamy caramel notes linger pleasantly long with fine praline, subtly dry oak spice, and a hint of fine herbs.

Distillery/Bottler: St. Kilian Distillers GmbH was founded in 2012 in Rüdenau in Franconia. It produces its whisky according to Scottish standards in pot stills and uses exclusively 100% malted barley. The distillery places great importance on quality and authenticity, which is reflected in its products.
