Special Features:

White wine casks shape Rock Believer. Each whisky used in the blend matured entirely in German casks that had previously held sweet wine made from Bacchus and Scheurebe grapes, late-harvest white wine or Chardonnay. This gives fruit and wine notes room alongside the oak spice.

This unpeated single malt launched the collaboration between St. Kilian Distillers and the Scorpions for the band's 60th anniversary. The edition comprises 7,500 bottles of 0.7 litres, bottled at 47% alcohol. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, ripe grapes sit alongside apricot and pear. Vanilla and oak spice complement the fruit, with a subtle hint of toffee.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky is silky and sweetly fruity, with light-coloured grapes, apricot and ripe pear. Toffee and gentle oak warmth accompany the slight dryness of pale grape skins.
• Finish: The long finish is warm, creamy and fruity. Gentle wine notes, spicy dry oak and fine tannins linger, along with a hint of pale grape skins.

Distillery/Bottler:

Andreas Thümmler founded St. Kilian Distillers GmbH in Rüdenau in 2012. The company has distilled there in copper stills since 2016. St. Kilian developed Rock Believer for its collaboration with the Scorpions and bottled the whisky itself.
