Stauning HØST Höst - Danish Whisky New Design
Special features: To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the Stauning Distillery presents its Core Range in a fresh, Scandinavian-inspired design. The new bottle impresses with clear architectural lines and a distinctive texture that reflects the Danish principle of simplicity and clarity. The new brand symbol with nine lines and a central grain motif tells the story of the founders and emphasizes the distillery's "Grain-to-Glass" philosophy. The bottling matured in American Oak and Portwood Casks, giving the Blended Malt a multifaceted depth.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fruity aromas with a subtle rye spice and hints of port wood.
Palate: Distinct and balanced with notes of rye bread, ripe fruits, and a fine wood note.
Finish: Long-lasting, harmonious, and slightly spicy with a touch of sweet oak.
Distillery/Bottler: The Stauning Whisky Distillery was founded 20 years ago at Ringkøbing Fjord and has since established itself as a leading Danish whisky distillery. The distillery follows a "Grain-to-Glass" philosophy, taking full control of the entire production process from selecting the grain to bottling. This artisanal approach and the founders' spirit of experimentation shape the characteristic whisky compositions.
