Special features: This limited edition combines the smoky depth of Stauning's rye whisky with the complexity of porter beer casks from the Danish brewery To Øl. The combination of locally sourced, floor-malted rye and barley, gently smoked with Danish peat and heather, gives this whisky a unique character. After aging in heavily charred American virgin oak casks, the final maturation takes place in porter beer casks, resulting in an intense and complex flavor development.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Roasted malt, vanilla, and campfire smoke.
• Palate: Rye bread, beeswax, and orange peel, accompanied by ripe cherries, dark chocolate, and warm spices.
• Finish: Long and warming with plums, raisins, brown sugar, coffee, and a hint of sweet tobacco, balanced by fresh rye spice and gentle peat and heather smoke.
