Distillery/Bottler: Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Co. Ltd. was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother. After the initial bottling in Leith, the headquarters were moved to Edinburgh to expand production. The company is known for its philosophy of signing whisky, even if this was not implemented. With the acquisition of the Highland distillery Edradour in 2002, Signatory Vintage relocated its operations to the distillery's premises.
