Distillery/Bottler: Duncan Taylor was founded in 1938 in Glasgow and is known for its extensive collection of rare whisky casks. In 2002, the company was taken over by Euan Shand and relocated to Huntly in Speyside. The Octave series includes whiskies that mature in smaller 50-liter casks, allowing for a more intense aroma development.
