Special Features:

The Teeling Trinity Pack contains 0.05 litres each of Single Grain, rum-cask-matured Small Batch and Single Malt. All three Irish whiskeys are triple distilled, bottled at 46% and non-chill-filtered. Presented in gift packaging, the set contains 0.15 litres in total; none of the whiskeys contain added colouring.

The Single Grain is made from 95% corn and 5% malted barley and matures in American red wine casks. For the Small Batch, selected grain and malt whiskeys first mature fully in ex-bourbon casks before being married together in Central American rum casks for up to twelve months. Made from malted barley, the Single Malt combines the influences of Virgin American Oak, Ruby Port, Caravelos White Port, Madeira and bourbon casks.

The set’s overall flavour spectrum encompasses melon, fig, toffee, citrus, dried fruit, vanilla, orange blossom, apple, blackberry, honey, grain and spices. In the Single Grain, red grapes, berries and sweetness add further breadth, while its finish is dry and tannic.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, the Small Batch combines floral and herbal impressions with vanilla, rum-soaked raisins and allspice. The Single Malt opens on the nose with tropical fruit, caramelised sugar, oak spice and ginger.
• Palate: The Small Batch is creamy and sweet with vanilla on the palate, where dried fruit, raisins and apricots meet warming spices. On the palate, the Single Malt combines chocolate, mixed berries and various notes of orchard fruit.
• Finish: The Small Batch has a long, warming finish with lingering sweetness, balanced oak and spices. The Single Malt’s long finish brings passion fruit and pineapple to the fore.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Teeling family’s Dublin whiskey history dates back to 1782, when Walter Teeling founded a small distillery on Marrowbone Lane. Jack and Stephen Teeling have shaped the modern brand since 2012; in 2015, they opened the city’s first new distillery in more than 125 years in Dublin’s The Liberties district.

Teeling combines traditional methods with unusual grain recipes, different distillation techniques and an experimental approach to cask maturation. For the Trinity Pack, the Teeling Whiskey Company brings together three distinct bottlings from its range.
