After aging for ten years in bourbon barrels, this single malt received a 13-month finish in barrels that were previously used for the Italian premium wine Amarone. The storage in repurposed shipping containers, which expose the whisky to extreme weather conditions, gives it a special complexity. With a strong alcohol content of 54.9%, this bottling offers an intense tasting experience.
