This single cask bottling of single malt whiskey was matured firstly in a Jerez Sherry Butt; then in a First Fill Ex-Rioja Cask from the Bodegas Faustino, Spain. This exclusive cask has been finished in a First Fill Ex-Ruby Port Cask. This has given the spirit a deep, rich red hue. The pallet is similarly rich and complex, with the triple cask flavours layering for spectacular complexity.

The Ballindoney Farm in the heart of Ireland's Golden Vale is a unique place that, combined with knowledge and passion, offers Tipperary the opportunity to produce great Irish whiskey from its own barley. Whiskey expert Stuart Nickerson oversees this process meticulously, selects barrels and regularly tests samples to ensure the unique quality. The company's own single malt Irish whiskey must mature for at least three years in wooden barrels before it can be called "whiskey". After 200 years of watching the Ballindoney Farm's own barley mature every year, the family business is fortunately very patient.
