Special Features:

This 21-year-old unpeated Island single malt is part of the distillery’s Core Range and is produced in small batches. It was distilled on 16 December 1999. The spirit initially matured in refill whisky casks before being transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for finishing on 26 February 2015. Bottled at 46.3%, it is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

The aromatic profile begins with sweet, nutty notes of marzipan, hazelnuts, toffee and dark sugar syrup. Cherry wood, brown sugar, caramelised pineapple and sticky toffee follow on the palate before the whisky ends on a fresh, light and sweet note.

Distillery/Bottler:

Tobermory Distillery stands on the coast of the Isle of Mull and was founded in 1798. Its water comes from the nearby Gearr Abhainn stream. The distillery produces two clearly distinct single malt styles: unpeated Tobermory and peated Ledaig. Following a modernisation programme from 2017 to 2019, it continues its small-batch craft production; the 21-year-old Tobermory is bottled by the distillery itself.
