Special features: This 15-year-old single malt from Speyside initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and received its final finish in Madeira casks – a combination that gives it a fruity-rich complexity. Limited edition of 6,654 bottles that combines the characteristically smooth and malty style of the distillery with opulent aromas. The bottling is done without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Sweet caramel and maple syrup, accompanied by juicy blackberries, underlined by ground coffee and dark chocolate.
Palate: Rich flavors of chocolate raisins, plum compote, candied fruit peels, and creamy tiramisu, refined with licorice, syrup candies, and peppery oak spices.
Finish: Long-lasting with notes of roasted nuts, espresso, and cocoa, complemented by dark fruits as well as fennel and ginger spice.
