The maturation takes place entirely in ex-bourbon casks, resulting in a clear, elegant aroma profile. With an alcohol content of 48%, it is free from chill filtration and coloring, highlighting the natural quality of the whisky. The product is available without packaging, emphasizing the puristic approach of the bottling.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose presents an expressive, fruit-forward bouquet welcoming with juicy pears, sun-ripened nectarines, and ripe peaches. Fine aromas of caramel and a hint of toasted coconut add warmth and depth to the scent.
• Palate: Smooth on entry and silky on the palate – the fruity impressions from the nose continue and are complemented by fine pastry notes, evoking thoughts of butter cookies or peach pie. The texture is full-bodied and creamy, while the alcohol at 48% vol. remains well integrated.
• Finish: The finish is medium-long and pleasantly sweet, accompanied by lingering fruitiness. A fine veil of oak provides elegant depth in the finish.

Distillery/Bottler: The Tormore Distillery was founded in 1958 and acquired by Elixir Distillers in 2022. It uses water from the Achvochkie Burn and has four wash stills and four spirit stills with an annual production capacity of 4,400,000 liters. The maturation takes place entirely in classic bourbon barrels, and it is free from chill filtration and coloring, further supporting the quality of the whisky.
