Special Features:

For Edition #45 of its 100 Proof range, Signatory Vintage selected Tormore whisky matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon casks. Distilled in 2015, this Speyside Single Malt matured for nine years before being bottled in 2025 at 57.1%, without chill filtration or added colouring.

The name 100 Proof refers to the historic British measure equivalent to 57.1% alcohol. Stone fruit and orchard fruit mingle with vanilla, pastry, nuts and spice.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe peach, green apple and honey blossom appear on the nose alongside vanilla fudge, gentle spice and shortbread. Orange cream, caramel, peanut butter and nougat follow.
• Palate: Apricot and pear meet creamy vanilla, gentle spice, oak and a subtle nuttiness on the palate. More pronounced pepper, pipe tobacco and roasted peanuts also emerge; water brings out barley and orange peel.
• Finish: The medium-long to long finish combines light fruit and warm vanilla with dry spice, ending slightly dry.

Distillery/Bottler:

Tormore distilled this Single Malt in Speyside; independent bottler Signatory Vintage selected and bottled the whisky. Built in 1960, Tormore Distillery has been a listed building since 1986. Elixir Distillers acquired it in 2022 and resumed production in January 2023.

Andrew Symington founded Signatory Vintage with his brother in 1988. The independent bottler later moved its operations to Edradour near Pitlochry, where it has worked since 2007.
