Special features: The Tullibardine Sherry Cask Finish is a Scottish single malt whisky from the Highlands region and is part of the Cask Craft Collection by Murray McDavid. This whisky undergoes a finishing maturation in Pedro Ximénez (PX) and Oloroso sherry hogsheads, which adds additional complexity. With an alcohol content of 44.5%, it is non-smoky and is offered without packaging. The careful selection of casks plays a central role in the development of its flavor profile.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, there is a rich and inviting combination of chocolate, malt, and sweet orange. Candied dried fruits, roasted nuts, and gentle hints of wood round out the aroma.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky flows creamy and smooth over the tongue. Pleasant malt sweetness, dark chocolate, figs, and candied orange peel combine with buttery toffee and a light oak spice in the background.
• Finish: The finish shows a harmonious wood spice that characterizes the medium-length finish, accompanied by sweet cocoa powder, malt candies, caramel, and a hint of Jaffa Cake.

Distillery/Bottler: Murray McDavid was founded in 1996 by Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin, and Gordon Wright and honors Reynier's grandparents with its name. The distillery is known for innovative cask maturations and the careful selection of oak casks from various regions. Murray McDavid played a key role in the reopening of the Bruichladdich Distillery in 2000 and worked closely with Master Distiller Jim McEwan. In 2012, it was sold to Remy Cointreau.
